Our founder, Dato’ Sri Warren Eu has always been involved in a lot of charitable events and he tends to bring this selfless act into the company. He has been to various locations alongside his team from AKERO through this philanthropy journey.
On the 13th of March 2020, our team from AKERO visited Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Mata Air Kehidupan Selangor in Ulu Yam where we distributed them an array of basic needs as well as our very own products from AKERO. We donated food items such as rice, biscuits, oils, Milo, sugars, salts as well as canned foods and the basic necessities were like the soaps, shampoos and detergents. We also spent some time with the kids, getting to know them and we even let them try out AKERO’s fruit juice which is very suitable for kids as it gives them the nutrients that they need to grow up healthily. AKERO’S fruit juice is incorporated with a lot of natural ingredients and extracts that make up the beneficial and tasty fruit juice which the kids absolutely love it.
Later in the year of 2020, December 27th, our team from AKERO went to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary which we have actually been affiliated for the past 7 years and counting. Every month, AKERO will send daily essentials for them such as shampoos, toilet paper, dishwashing liquids and detergents and the orphanage will also get its facilities maintained where we will service their air conditioner and plumbing system annually.
On this particular visit, we bonded with the kids by having AKERO’s crew singing Christmas songs and getting to know the kids that we’ve been helping throughout the years. We also gave them eggs, oils, rice and also some other food items as we spent the day together and celebrated the festive season.
Without the generosity of Dato’ Sri Warren Eu, none of these are possible. He dedicates his efforts of giving to the community since he established the Warren Foundation that focuses in giving back to those in need.
