There are many attempts in trying to slow down the aging process since over the past millennia. Up till today, continuous endeavors in research have been made to tackle this problem and at AKERO, we have made a breakthrough. Following extensive research over the years, we have developed Afatelo.
AKERO’s Afatelo is a nutritional product that we have created which contains several key ingredients in delaying the physiological aging process such as Telomerase which can maintain the stability of Telomere. Telomeres are repetitive sequences of protein complexes located at the ends of chromosomes and it shortens with each cell replication. Then, when they have been shorten, cell death will occur which progressively speeds up the aging process. However, telomerase, the essential ingredient in AKERO’s Afatelo can combat this by stabilizing telomere thus reducing telomere shortening which in return, delays aging. Hence overall, AKERO’s Afatelo can maintain the normal function of the chromosomes, provide normal cell functions and delay aging.
Next, another essential ingredient of our product is a species of edible plant, blue-green algae that inhabits fresh water known as Aphonizomenon Flos Aquae (AFA) which has emerged in the natural world even since 3.5 billion years ago. It strives in the wilderness where the lakes are rich in natural minerals and isn’t possible to be cultivated artificially which explains its rarity. Given that it grows in such a conducive and healthy environment as well as free of pollution, AFA not only highly organic and non-toxic, but it also has a higher overall nutritional value as compared to other blue-green algae.
Moreover, the nutritional balance in AKERO’s Afatelo is specifically been focused in order to match the needs of the human body. It is also ensured that it can be rapidly absorbed by the cells for rapid action of the algae’s protective properties. In addition, AFA has even been recognized widely in the United Nations Food Conference as “the most ideal food for human beings” as well as the World Health Organization which states that it is “the best health product for mankind in the 21st century”.
So, with a combination of these two highly protective components that have been incorporated in the AKERO’s Afatelo, we aim to slow down the aging process in its entirety in order for our consumers to feel younger every day.
